Written in colors est dans ma généalogie le mouvement réel qui se relance après la peinture 2020. Les autoportraits ont pour moi une valeur de tracker sur lequel s’impriment les nouveaux carrefours de ma pratique, à la fois mentaux et idéologiques.
Self Pink annonce la réécriture confiante en de nouvelles histoires et s’appuie sur des figures inspirantes : Toyin Ojih Odutola et Paula Rego investies par leurs propres autoportraits. Le dessin prend une place plus importante aussi et dialogue avec les formes peintes et les fragments brodés.
